Spring means "conferences and meetings" and our entire sales team has been traveling quite a bit from Orlando to Acapulco and many points in between. It was fun to see our many friends all across the country and the world at the NETA conference held here in Dallas but then there are others not in town. Perhaps my second favorite conference is the annual Doble Show which is always held at the Westin Copley in Boston.

This year I braved the metropolitan subway to have a beer with my high school buddy Kevin McCarthy and the above photo montage kind of explains the experience (a tad scary for a non train rider like myself). I also went to a Celtics game with my friend Jim C. and that was also excellent. The Boston Garden is a sports museum in addition to a venue so go 3 hours early and you will have lots to see and do. I have given the Doble Conference and Boston in general the "Best Food" designation. While lots of times you need to get something to eat after the catering, not in Boston.
And then it was off the the PEARL conference in Pittsburgh. There is something I like about Pittsburgh (maybe it was my meeting where they said "want to see some Tesla drawings".. heck yea.. Telsa was the real man..). While Pittsburgh scored a little less than Boston in the food department, it was a very close second with an excellent Italian restaurant a nice walk from the Westin hotel and a perfect Gyro stand right across the street (wish I had found this sooner).
